The organization trained 550 youth on pig rearing and assisted them in setting up 5 piggeries

In the year 2000 and 2002 YDC published two (2) extension manuals:  A guide on how to grow “Eru”(Gnetum Africanum) & A practical handbook on Cane Rat domestication. We also trained and assisted 30communities in setting up local AIDS control committees in 28 communities in the South West Region of Cameroon between 2002 and 2006.  

We have equally sensitized more than 10,000 pupils and students on the fight against the spread of the pandemic in 34 schools and communities.As far as support to IDPs is concern, YDC in collaboration with Reach Out Cameroon and IRC, have identified and assisted more than 300 households with NFI, WASH kits and food items.
